This site (www.turumi.co.jp) runs on a system that Masanori Tsurumi of Tsurumi Co., Ltd. built piece by piece to fit the shop's own needs, and has kept improving day by day. Here we introduce the features that are actually in use.
Counting only operational files such as pages and settings (excluding photos and images), the site is currently at roughly the following scale.
Each page carries its own version number, advanced by one every time it is edited, and the site has been continuously operated and improved this way over a long period.
A custom-built admin screen that lets the site's text and structure be edited directly from a browser.
A bike consultation service available to registered customers.
The following are ideas that seem like natural extensions of systems already in place. They are not confirmed plans and are not yet implemented or in operation.
| Possible development | What would change | Existing system it builds on |
|---|---|---|
| CSV integration with accounting software | Sales and purchase data could be handed to accounting software via CSV instead of manual entry | The existing CSV read/write system for event applications |
| Booking for vehicle inspection/maintenance | Customers could choose a booking date/time on the site (no phone call or visit needed) | The existing event registration system (date/time selection, intake, listing) |
| First-line intake via AI consultation | The AI could pick up on things like "is it about time for inspection?" during conversation and draft a booking | The existing bike AI consultation conversation/logging system |
| An image/file management screen | Administrators could browse and organize photos and documents like folders | The "Explorer-style" folder view already in the thumbnail selection screen |
| Excel import/export for customer data | Customer lists could be exchanged via Excel | WebsiteEditor's table editing (with xlsx support) |
| Payroll software integration & automatic payslip delivery | Payslips could be sent automatically by email, and bank transfer data generated automatically too | The shared email-sending system (SMTP) |
* Before actually starting work: accounting integration would need checking the format the other software supports, the booking feature would need double-booking prevention, and automatic payroll/transfer data would need an extra layer of safety handling.
